New Projects For Philippine Airlines

Just as we have started using (and enjoying) the 2009 Philippine Airlines calendar, Mike is getting his gear ready again for a series of trips for the 2010 calendar. We’ll keep you posted as the different destinations are decided on.

Meanwhile, Mike is also doing a series of virtual 360 shoots of the new PAL cabins. The photographs in these shoots will be used for a virtual 360 tour that will soon be a feature in PAL website.

Announcement

Northlight Studio will be closed for the Christmas break from Dec. 24, 2008 to Jan. 4, 2009 so our hard-working staff can enjoy the holidays with their family.

Philippine Airlines 2009 Calendar

We have just finished shooting for the Philippine Airlines 2009 Calendar. As with all the past PAL calendars that Mike shot, this project was captured entirely on film, using 6x17 panoramic format.

Despite some difficulty with the unpredictable weather and the challenge of finding fresh perspectives and materials, we were fortunate to find real gems, as you will see when we finally post the photos in our official website (as soon as the calendars are released by PAL).

The fulfillment was truly high with this project, as this year, PAL strove to showcase more local destinations. The beauty of this country can really impress even the most seasoned travelers. Watch out for the photos!

New Look Online!

Welcome to our new and improved site! We hope you will find it more streamlined and easier to navigate. This simpler layout also marks Mike's move into un-fussy, crisp and clean photography style.

We've added a cool new feature for a select group of clients - the Client Login page, where key persons can log in to view and manage photos online. This feature is quite useful for our clients who are constantly on the go and some of our international clients. We've also added the Specials gallery to feature some of our seasonal work.

On a lighter note, the star confetti streaming through our main page is our little way of celebrating this new and improved site as well as our renewed drive to provide more innovations for you, our esteemed clients. Thank you for your unwavering trust and steadfast support. We value our partnership and look forward to forging stronger ties for the years ahead.
